Oct 2019: New locum app update

Clarity Locums are delighted to announce that we have just updated our app, this update is live on both the iOS app store and the Google Play store. These features were developed in response to feedback we have received from a number of locums. While we have a list of further features and improvements already in our development pipeline, we are really keen to hear from you about other features you would like to see in the future. Please let us know if you would like to see any features added in future releases.

New On-call button

Our new on-call button, pictured below, makes going on call as easy as possible.

You can activate the button by tapping it. It then goes red, as per below, making it clear that you are activated. Once you have clicked this button you remain on call for 24 hours.

Document upload via camera or photos

You can now upload pictures of your documents or accreditations via your phone's camera by taking a photo via the app or by uploading a photo you have previously taken. The interface is below.

Set location via map

You can use your phone's GPS to pinpoint your location by choosing "My Current Location" in the profile section of the app.

Alternatively, you can now select your location manually by pinpointing it on a map.

You no longer need your postcode or Eircode to determine your location.

30km to Nationwide shift view range

You can now select to view shifts from a 30km range up to 500km via a slider in the profile section below the location map, which is effectively nationwide. This enhanced range is particularly useful to locums who may travel long distances between two areas regularly, for instance, Dublin and Kerry. This means you no longer have to update your location repeatedly to view days in different parts of the country.

Enhanced shift details

You can now see both the gross hourly rate for a booking alongside the gross shift pay when viewing a list of shifts for a date.

Once you click for more details, you will see further details in the shift description if the pharmacy has updated their profile with us. We aim to have parking data on all pharmacies in our database by the end of the year, if not sooner.

You can now also see an approximate location of the pharmacy via a map interface.
