Cillian is recruiting for an experienced pharmacist for a Head of Clinical Pharmacy operations vacancy in Harlow, Essex.

What you need to know:
This is a permanent & Full time opportunity. There will be no late nights past 5pm necessary & no weekend requirements. Management/Operations experience is a must.

This Pharmacist will to lead and transform our pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will be a registered Pharmacist with a proven track record of high performance in operational leadership. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless handling, building, and dispensing of prescriptions, driving process improvements, and fostering a culture of excellence within our pharmacy team.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and manage the pharmacy services team to achieve operational excellence and high performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline pharmacy processes, reducing inefficiencies and enhancing service delivery.
• Collaborate with other professionals and departments to enhance patient care and service integration.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Provide mentorship and support to staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage the budget and resources of the pharmacy department, ensuring cost-effective operations.

What we're looking for:

• Extensive experience in pharmacy operations, with a strong background in managing prescription processing, building, and dispensing.
• Proven track record of leading and implementing change and transformation initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

What we require:

• Registration with the GPhC
• Relevant experience in a Management or Operational role.
• Applicants must possess a valid visa or work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
