Clarity is recruiting for Clinical Oncology Pharmacist for pharmacy in Harlow, Essex.
(Oncology experience is necessary)

What you need to know:
This is a permanent & Full time opportunity, with potential to consider a part-time contract also, working 5 days weekly. There will be no late nights past 5pm necessary & no weekend requirements.
This Pharmacist will support the Lead Pharmacist in overseeing daily Oncology operations, contributing to the training and development of the team, and ensuring the delivery of best practices.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide clinical leadership and specialist advice for patient care.
• Perform clinical verification of prescriptions according to GPhC & BOPA guidelines.
• Collaborate with departments to provide efficient and safe care, promoting a “one-team” approach.
• Contribute to business projects and Key Value Drivers.
• Support onboarding of new business and patients; develop new prescription templates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain consistent service levels.
• Develop training materials and provide operational and clinical training.
• Develop and maintain electronic prescribing system templates.
• Participate in departmental audits.

What we're looking for:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of the team as well as on your own initiative
• Good time management  & Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience working on Oncology wards.
• Experience in clinically screening Oncology SACT prescriptions.
• IV Oncology experience
• Involvement in ordering chemotherapy.

What we require:

• Registration with the GPhC
• Relevant experience in a Clinical & Oncology setting.
• Applicants must possess a valid visa or work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
