Then, we have some exciting news for you. Clarity Locums is looking for a nurse to cover a long-term vacancy at a private GP clinic in Limerick.
This GP practice nurse position is perfect for a nurse who wants to develop their skills in a community setting. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a practice nurse or occupational health, but the clinic is also open to nurses with acute care experience. The role is ongoing for 2-3 months with 3-4 days available each week, providing a flexible schedule with up to 40 hours of work. The clinic is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm, so you won't have to work nights or weekends. It's a nurse-led role, but supportive GPs are available when necessary. This is a great opportunity for nurses wishing to move into practice nursing.
The ideal candidate for this role should be registered with Clarity Locums app and have recent acute experience. It is mandatory that the nurse has excellent phlebotomy skills and prior immunisation experience. Cervical screening is a plus.
