As you may be aware, some recent developments in the financial sector has meant that Ulster Bank and KBC Bank are leaving the Irish market. At the end of October it was announced that KBC assets would be acquired by Bank of Ireland, and similarly Ulster Bank by Permanent TSB. As a locum pharmacist, this might affect the payment method linked to your account.
We would advise you to check your bank details on your Clarity Locums account and ensure that all details are updated accordingly and correct, to make sure you will be paid on time.
We are moving to AIB soon as we would like to make you aware that the costs of making an International Payment are incurred on both the sending and receiving side of the transfer. Depending on the payment currency, destination and channel used the cost of an International Payment may be charged either to the Sender or is shared between the Sender and the Receiver.
We would like to advise anyone with non-Irish bank accounts to consider opening an Irish bank account to avoid additional charges on your wage payment.
