Clarity Locums Webinar

Last night over 60 locums joined Clarity Locums, Contracting Plus, and the Irish Pharmacy Union for our annual locum information evening for newly qualified pharmacists. Due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, it was not possible to conduct this evening in person as we usually do so instead we reverted to a webinar format.

The night kicked off with Anthony O'Neill, managing director of Clarity Locums, giving locums a rundown on how to get set up with the agency along with helpful and practical tips on locuming. One important point was that all locums who planing on locuming with Clarity need to be Garda vetted. This is a free service that Clarity provides to all prospective locums with no obligation for any vetted locum to actually locum once they are vetted. Following this, Jennifer Doyle of Contracting Plus gave a talk on the benefits of their popular Contracting service. Anyone interested in their services can email Jennifer directly at [email protected]

To close out the night, Sinead Ryan of the Irish Pharmacy Union gave a talk on the functions of the IPU and the benefits of membership. Membership of the IPU is free for the first year for newly qualified pharmacists.

Finally, Clarity Locums is conscious that newly qualified locums are starting the careers in a particularly stressful environment so if any locum is feeling lost, stressed or isolated please do not hesitate in calling Anthony directly on his mobile 086 199 9703 - if its the case we aren't able to help we'll be able to signpost you to an appropriate resource.
