As of this week, Clarity Locums can now perform Enhanced DBS checks for England and Wales, and PVG checks for Scotland!
All Locums must have either of these checks to work in each respective country.
For DBS Checks you will need to subscribe your certificate to the update service to allow the certificate to become portable for use with multiple different companies. If you have an old DBS certificate which is not subscribed to the update service you have 28 days from the day you received the certificate to subscribe it to the update service. Unfortunately, if you have missed this window you will need to undertake a new check and subscribe that certificate to the update service. Further information regarding this can be found here.
If you live outside of Scotland but wish to work there you will also need to complete a PVG check, as DBS checks are not applicable in Scotland.
An Enhanced DBS Check costs £64.20.
